Wijnmaker David Ready Jr. zegt over zijn wijn "This is no wimpy Merlot" vrij vertaald "Dit is geen slapjanus". En daar zijn we het mee eens! In 1974 kocht Jess Jackson 32 hectare land in Lakeport, Californië en beplantte die met druiven. En zo begon het inmiddels iconische wijnbedrijf Kendall-Jackson, dat na de dood van Jess in 2011 met evenveel passie wordt geleid door zijn kinderen en familie; de Jackson Family. Mens en milieu staan hoog in hun vaandel. Met de komst van winery Murphy Goode werd het wijnbedrijf uitgebreid. Murphy Goode werd in 1985 opgericht door vrienden Tim Murphy, Dale Goode en Dave Ready. In de Verenigde Staten staat het wijnhuis bekend om zijn rechtlijnige, vaak bekroonde wijnen en om zijn nonchalante, pretentieloze stijl. Het wijnbedrijf wordt nog steeds door dezelfde familie gerund. De organisatie is in handen van de drie zonen van Tim Murphy, Dave Ready’s zonen zijn verantwoordelijk voor de wijnbereiding.Vol en zeer krachtig deze Murphy Goode Merlot
Midden in California staan de prachtige Merlot wijngaarden van Murphy Goode, de oude stokken van wel dertig jaar oud geven rijpe en volle trossen. Ze hebben wel veel aandacht nodig, en daarom is wijnmaker David Ready Jr. dag in dag uit in deze wijngaard te vinden. De druiven worden met de hand geoogst en vervoerd in kleine kratjes, zodat ze geen schade oplopen tijdens het transport. Hierna volgt een hout lagering om de Merlot meer diepgang te geven en dat is gelukt hoor. In de warme geur indrukken van zwart fruit, blauwe bessen, lichte kruiden en vanille en eikenhout. De smaak is complex en warm, veel fruit nuances van bramen, kersen en pruimen. Achter op de toch een mooi samenspel tussen het hout lageren en de eigenschappen van de Merlot druif, mooie lichte kruiden, pruimen, vanille, karamel en wat eikenhout.Shipping Notes

SEEMS TO WORK WELL... IF YOU CAN GET IT INTO THE TIRE

The front 11x6 tires of our Scag ZTR mower leaked air around the bead (a common problem). I bought one 10-oz bag to treat them, for about $22.
No matter how much I squeezed and squeezed, it would not dispense product. Turns out a small plug of "something" had clogged the hole in the cap (see photo). This might not be a problem for the syringe version but it sure was with the bag.
After discarding about an ounce of product and clearing the hole with a finishing nail, I was able to treat both tires. I drove the mower for ~15 minutes. Four days later they seem to be holding air. Previously, they went flat in two days.
So it seems to be working, but I have to drop a star for a flawed delivery system. If the tires start going flat again within an unreasonable period of time I'll come back and update this report.

Fan For Life!

I would not expect this to seal sidewall penetration or save an old tire from dry rot, but when it comes to road surface tire penetration there is absolutely no better or faster way to repair a flat.
1. You don’t have to remove the tire from the vehicle. Losing half a day waiting for a fixed flat tire is at an end!
2. While a bit pricey, it comes out to be a bit cheaper than a shop trip for smaller UTV or mower tires and A LOT cheaper for larger truck and tractor tires. In 2024, we spent over $350 on flats.
3. We have spiny honey locust trees and bushes invading our farm and deal with flats at least once a month, usually more often than that when clearing fence lines and trees or maintaining pastures. Not to mention the aggravating repeated flats on the same tire are gone.
4. The injector is a bit messy, but the residue will wash off in water if it is cleaned before it dries.
5. So far of the six treated tires on various machines, we’ve had no repeat flats or leaks.
6. Red valve covers come with the packaging so it’s easy to see whether a tire has been treated.
7. This works on tubes and no tubed tires.
8. I’ve used this on my truck, SUV, riding mower, UTV, tractor front tires, and backhoe front tires. Works as promised every time.
If the manufacturer is reading this review, I would appreciate a simpler dosing and injection system - especially on the gallon jug. I’m thinking of something like the pump on a lotion bottle where one pump equals one ounce for example. And provide more than one injector hose. Attach a string or other keeper on the valve removal tool. Losing this tiny tool would make the whole system inoperative.
Overall, I’m a lifetime fan.

Works Awesome

Product works great. I have it in my lawn mower tires. I have a property that we cleared of 100's of mesquite trees and I have been getting flats everytime I mowed. I added this to the tires and have now mowed 6 times with no flats. Keep in mind it does not work on tires with tubes but works perfect for tubeless tires. I have ordered 2 more kits for my 4 wheelers.
