Pas in de afgelopen twintig jaar is men pas druk bezig om op grote schaal de wijnbouw te moderniseren waarbij men moderne technieken combineert met oud vakmanschap. Dit zuidelijke en warme gebied produceert normaal veelal stoere rode wijnen van veelal lokale druivenrassen als Primitivo, Negroamaro,

Puglia staat vaak ook bekend als de hak van de Italiaanse laars. De wijnregio Puglia noemt men ook wel Apulië. De wijnbouw is hier al eeuwenoud. Pas in de afgelopen twintig jaar is men pas druk bezig om op grote schaal de wijnbouw te moderniseren waarbij men moderne technieken combineert met oud vakmanschap. Dit zuidelijke en warme gebied produceert normaal veelal stoere rode wijnen van veelal lokale druivenrassen als Primitivo, Negroamaro, Sussumanielo en Nero di Troia. Pas in 2011 ontstonden de eerste DOCG-classificaties in dit gebied maar veel wijnen uit dit gebied dragen nog met trots de IGT-classificatie en strijden met gemak in blinde proeverijen met ‘DOCG-familieleden’ uit andere Italiaanse wijnstreken.

Van alle Primitivo wijnen uit Puglia worden degene afkomstig uit het gebied rondom het stadje Manduria wel als beste beschouwd. Zo goed zelfs dat de wijnen uit dit productiegebied de toevoeging di Manduria mogen dragen.

En general, me gustó el producto. Otra historia es el protector solar facial. Tiene una consistencia tipo crema, se esparce fácil, no deja residuo blanco, no deja sensación grasosa o pesada. Se absorbe rápido. Pero luego de un par de usos, me brotó la piel del rostro. En cambio, a mi esposo que tiene piel seca en su carita, le ha servido mucho. No le ha generado ningún tipo de reacción adversa y su piel lo aceptó desde el primer momento. Luego de una semana de uso, no tiene ninguna queja al respecto. En fin. Los productos son bastante buenos, pero yo, con mi tipo de piel, no usaría el protector solar facial.
