- Het hout is afkomstig van olijfbomen die geen vruchten meer dragen. Ze houden dus een duurzaam product in de handen
- De ontbijtplankjes van olijfhout bestaan uit een rand van sap. Als gevolg hiervan worden de sappen van je vlees en groenten in de rand van het sap verzameld. Zelfs als je dit product als serveerplank van olijfhout gebruikt, vangt de saprand het vocht en het vet van je geserveerde gerecht op.
