  1. Voorbereiding van de kalkoen:

    • Spoel de kalkoen af met koud water en dep hem droog met keukenpapier.
    • Verwijder eventueel overtollig vet of losse stukjes.

  2. Marineren:

    • Leg de kalkoen in een grote zak, schaal of pan die geschikt is voor marineren.
    • Giet de marinade over de kalkoen zodat deze volledig bedekt is.
    • Masseer de marinade goed in de huid en het vlees, vooral rond de borst en poten.

  3. Laat het intrekken:

    • Dek de schaal af of sluit de zak en laat de kalkoen minimaal 12-24 uur marineren in de koelkast.
    • Draai de kalkoen af en toe om zodat alle delen gelijkmatig marineren.

  4. Bereiden:

    • Haal de kalkoen 1 uur voor het bakken uit de koelkast om op kamertemperatuur te komen.
    • Dep overtollige marinade voorzichtig van de kalkoen met keukenpapier.
    • Bereid de kalkoen verder volgens je favoriete recept (bijvoorbeeld braden in de oven).
