Michaela (geboren Allram) nam in 1992 samen met haar man Erich het wijnbedrijf in Kamptal over van haar ouders. Hun wijngaard in het Strassertal beslaat in totaal zo’n 14 hectaren. De verschillende “Lagen”, zoals de Hasel, Gaisberg, Sandgrube en Gaisberg, bestaan uit diverse grondsoorten als löss, klei, leisteen en graniet. De filosofie van Erich is dat de kwaliteit van de wijn in de wijngaard ontstaat en hij heeft dan ook de druivensoorten zorgvuldig afgestemd op hun individuele terroir. Zo is gekozen voor de typisch Oostenrijkse grüner veltliner, blauer zweigelt en St. Laurent, maar ook voor weissburgunder en riesling. Een hoge mate van individualiteit en karakter is kenmerkend voor de wijnen van dit Oostenrijkse kwaliteitshuis.
