De koffie afkomstig van de Hacienda El Cafetal gelegen op het eiland San Cristobal is gecertificeerd biologisch, groeit in een vogelvriendelijke bosomgeving en rijpt in de schaduw van andere bomen, zoals avocado’s, guaves, sinaasappelen en torenhoge cederbomen.
De plantage werd in 1875 door Don Miguel Cobos opgestart door import van koffie uit Ethiopië. Het landgoed werd in 1915 volledig aan zijn lot overgelaten, maar in 1990 nam de familie Gonzalez het over en maakte er een succes van. Vandaag is het landgoed een ecologisch heiligdom en Unesco erfgoed. De lokale wetgever heeft de export gelimiteerd tot 5000 zakken per jaar.

I have sensory sensitivities, so wearing sunscreen is usually a pretty unpleasant experience for me. Coola Sunblock Body Lotion is one of the very few body sunscreens I've tried that I actually enjoy wearing, and it works perfectly. I am very fair and burn easily, but I had no burning or redness on my first outside day of the summer while wearing this. It's sunscreen that works and that I can actually wear with zero discomfort.
