De VISIO Light LED-lichtbuis voor langharige honden is speciaal ontwikkeld voor de veiligheid van uw langharige hond tijdens de donkere maanden. Hij kan worden gebruikt met knipperend of continu licht en biedt een uitstekende helderheid en kleurintensiteit. Dankzij het platte, brede ontwerp ligt de lichtbuis plat tegen de vacht van de hond en verdwijnt hij er niet onder, waardoor de hond zelfs op afstand duidelijk zichtbaar is. De relatieve zichtbaarheid is ongeveer 500 meter, afhankelijk van het batterijniveau en de lokale omstandigheden. De flexibele siliconen lichtbuis is lichtgewicht, zacht en verstelbaar om de nekomtrek van de hond te passen (van 20 tot 65 cm) door hem eenvoudig op maat te knippen. De lichtgevende halsband is gemaakt van hoogwaardige materialen, is robuust en weerbestendig. Dankzij het spatwaterdichte ontwerp kan hij zonder problemen in regen en sneeuw worden gebruikt.

Batterijen zijn niet nodig. Het apparaat kan gemakkelijk worden opgeladen met de meegeleverde USB-kabel (bijvoorbeeld via een computer). Het licht gaat ongeveer 1,5 uur mee in de continue modus en ongeveer 2 uur in de knipperende modus. De batterij is binnen ongeveer 1,5 tot 2 uur volledig opgeladen.

Absolutely Not Nonsense
Format: Hardcover
At first glance, this book might be mistaken for "Chariots of the Gods" hokum -- it's about pyramids, it suggest prehistoric connections between widely scattered civilizations, and it has an entire chapter on planetary catastrophes. However, this is a very serious effort. Granted, it raises a lot more questions than it answers, and can be a little monotonous in spots. But as a former geology major, I didn't spot any pseudo-science (which is not surprising, given that the primary author has a Ph.D. in Geology from Yale) and I found much food for thought. Sure, if it turns out that the whole theory of cultural diffusion is wrong, (similarities in disparate civilizations are due to migration and interconnection rather than parallel developoment) this book will be little more than an amusing footnote in the history of science. But then, plate tectonics was once a crackpot theory. This is a serious book that deserves to be read.
