Edge is ontworpen met minimalistische ontwerpprincipes voor een tijdloze, maar boeiende uitdrukking. De tafel is vervaardigd uit 100% travertijn, een interessant en tijdloos materiaal dat zich onderscheidt door zijn buitengewone structuur en unieke patronen. Om onnodig afval te minimaliseren, is Edge ontworpen om gebruik te maken van de manier waarop het travertijnmateriaal wordt gewonnen. De natuursteen wordt gewonnen uit een travertijnmijn, vervolgens in platen van verschillende maten gesneden. Edge Coffee Table bestaat volledig uit vierkante travertijnen platen in verschillende maten, samengevoegd in een eenvoudige, geometrische constructie. Op deze manier worden de verschillende platen gebruikt om het meeste uit het materiaal te halen. De geometrische constructie van de tafel werpt intrigerende schaduwen en geeft het ontwerp een dynamische uitdrukking. Edge wordt gekenmerkt door minimalistische, strakke lijnen, een complementair contrast met het dynamische spel en de organische uitstraling van het natuurlijke materiaal. In totaal een eenvoudig ontwerp dat het natuurlijke travertijnsteen belicht en een buitengewone mogelijkheid heeft om naadloos in elk interieur te passen.

GREAT READ
Format: Hardcover
I can’t stop thinking about Laws of Love and Logic, a debut novel by Debra Curtis. It’s beautifully written, incredibly heartbreaking, but nevertheless hopeful. It’s definitely not your typical romance novel rather it’s heavily character driven, and thought provoking. The characters feel so real. The way the author writes about the sisters’ relationship will stay with me forever. Also, having grown-up Catholic, I was so inspired to see progressive Catholicism with an emphasis on serving the most vulnerable, as being a foundational part of the sisters’ lives. The story spans decades, opening in the 70s and follows the characters into middle age. If you like books by Elizabeth Strout and Ann Patchett, you’ll love this one.

Highly recommended read!!

My book club read this. It’s a thoughtful and emotional story with believable characters and strong family themes. I especially loved the message of forgiveness, which added real depth to the story. I’m from the area where the book takes place and found the setting and details extremely accurate. I could picture myself in and around it. Loved it and highly recommend. Looking forward to this author’s next book!
