The direct-injected and turbocharged 2.0L Hurricane engine found in the 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL is the most advanced engine ever fitted to a Wrangler. But, despite all the high-tech features that make the Hurricane great, It's still vulnerable to a very low-tech problem: blow-by. The fuel efficiency and increased power of direct injection comes with the threat of carbon buildup. As fuel and air get squeezed in the cylinder, some of the mixture leaks past the piston rings and carries oil from the cylinder walls with it. This mixture is known as blow-by. To prevent crankcase pressure from building up, the blow-by is then vented into the intake to be reburned. Blow-by becomes an issue with direct-injected engines when it passes the intake valves. Without fuel spraying over the valve, There's nothing to wash off the blow-by and heat from combustion eventually causes it to build up as carbon on the back of the intake valves. That carbon buildup prevents valves from closing fully and disrupts airflow. The result is poor running, misfires and, if left long enough, engine damage. The best solution to the problem of blow-by buildup is prevention. Instead of letting blow-by enter the intake, the Mishimoto 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL 2.0L direct-fit baffled oil catch can kit diverts it away from the intake valves and into a 7.5 oz catch can. You can then recycle the contents of the catch can with your next oil change. The internal air diverters and baffle of our catch can thoroughly condense oil, fuel, and water vapor so that the only air flowing through your intake is fresh air. In addition, our direct-fit lines and high-flow filter ensure CEL-free running. When your one-night stand turns out to be the surgeon that you subpoenaed for a malpractice lawsuit.
Ana, an unappreciated lawyer, has been passed up for promotion to her male colleagues yet again. A malpractice lawsuit win could be what she needs to finally get the promotion she’s worked so hard for. Rachel, a cardiac surgeon who goes above and beyond for her patients, is subpoenaed to testify in a malpractice lawsuit. Arriving at the law firm for her deposition, Rachel discovers that the lawyer for the family who filed the lawsuit is Ana Mendez. As in Ana, her one-night stand.
I was excited to get my hands on this one! I loved that Ana and Rachel were so different from each other in personalities, looks, backgrounds, and religions. The differences made them unique and interesting to me. The banter was well-written, and I loved how feisty they were towards each other in the beginning. Was the dirty talk unexpected? Very much so. I was not prepared for that or for how hot things had gotten. And while I did enjoy the spice, I would’ve liked for there to have been more communication about the conflict too. The references to The Golden Girls and The Sims? Oh, I totally geeked out over that! Overall, it was a good sapphic romance that I’m sure others will enjoy.

A Conflict of Interest Worth Taking
Format: Paperback
This is the second book by Morgan Adams, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! One of the main characters, Ana Mendez, appears in Adams's first book, but that is not a requirement for reading this story about her and Dr. Rachel Cohen. One of the tropes in this book is one night to forever, and I enjoyed the time it took for the two characters to re-meet and figure out their issues.
I thought their relationship developed well on the page. It was believable, had some humor, and was QUITE spicy. I liked each character's relationships with friends and family, too; they helped to make Ana and Rachel more than just two women who are well-established in their careers.
A Conflict of Interest is a fascinating medical/legal story alongside a romantic one. I would recommend it to readers who want to read about two competent and mature adults who have to navigate their careers as well as a romance.
Thank you to the author and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review the arc of this book!

Great read.

Cardiac surgeon Rachel Cohen is doing what she always knew she wanted to do. Her family lived close by so when she wanted or needed her family, there they were. After working most of the night operating on people who arrived hurt and scared she was more than ready for a nice cold drink. It’s There she meets the drop-dead- gorgeous woman and since it’s been a while since she’d taken some play time for herself.
Ana Mendez has been trying to get herself noticed so maybe, just maybe when there is a promotion coming around her office. Ana’s family lived in the locality and like Rachel she found herself trying to make time for them but right now she hardly has time to think, getting ready for the trial that Ana felt she had to win.
Ana is looking for some fun and when she goes to the same bar,who should meet is one of the sexiest women Ana has seen. Since the attraction is kind of off the charts they both decide to add, hopefully, a lot of sex to their evening, That is how it all starts. Very nice read.
