The Lukas Nelson Signature '56 Les Paul Junior is a faithful recreation of Nelson's prized 1956 Les Paul Junior, an instrument that has generations of history behind it. The recreation bears striking resemblance to the original as luthiers at Gibson have utilized the same materials originally picked in 1956. A single cutaway mahogany body provides the resonance that is still common in Les Paul Junior models today. Taking note of the original 1950s specifications, the Lukas Nelson Les Paul Junior features an accurate fat '50s-style neck profile to feel solid in hand while providing great sustain and comfortable movement up and down the rosewood fingerboard.
