Description:
Cortec® ElectriCorr® VpCI®-239 is a multifunctional outdoor cleaner/protector with Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) for electrical and electronic equipment and components. It removes oils, grime, wax and other contaminants and provides corrosion protection at the same time. It forms a thin film against aggressive conditions including industrial, marine and tropical regions. Compatible with most plastics, elastomers and other non-metallics. Does not alter electrical resistance or magnetic properties. CFC and 1,1,1-Trichlorethane free.
Packaging:
Available in 9.45 oz aerosol cans. Sold in a box containing 6 cans. Store indoors and out of direct sunlight at 40-100ºF.
How to Use:
As a protector: Spray a very light mist over the part to be protected with ElectriCorr® VpCI®-239. Provides up to 2 years of indoor protection with proper controls. As a cleaner: Spray generously on area to be cleaned. May be wiped off if desired. Dry time is 1-2 hours at 70ºF and 50% RH.
Typical Applications:
It can be used for rust prevention on different metals in humid environment. Use for preservation of cleaned surfaces, pumps, electric motors, parts and equipment. Ideal for rust prevention on generators, junction boxes and electrical outlets.
