暖かな輝きを放つアンバーカラーのストーンが美しい、1950年代のバークレイのイヤリング。いぶし加工が施されたアンティーク調メタルに、ラウンド、ペアシェイプ、マーキス、と様々なカットのストーンがセッティングされています。落ち着いたゴールドのメタルと、暖かな光を思わせる深いオレンジ色の煌めきが美しく調和した一品。独特のムードを放ち、お顔周りを印象的に彩ってくれます。
【Barclay(バークレイ)とは】
1911年に設立されたThe New England Glasswork Companyが1947年に社名変更し、Barclay Jewely Inc.となったコスチュームジュエリーブランド。フィリグリー細工を施したメタルに様々な形のラインストーンをセッティングした作品が代表的。社名変更した後～1950年代の作品は特にクオリティが高く、現在もコレクターに特に人気があります。ブランドは1957年に閉業しました。
