The Benson Stonk Box Fuzz Pedal combines the essence of classic 1960's fuzz design with modern improvements, eliminating flaws and inconsistencies. Inspired by the ever-lauded MK1 but is much more buffer and pedal order friendly.

The pedal features Automatic Thermal Bias Technology, gently warming the germanium transistors (2N404 OR 2N527) to a preset operating point using analog components. The LED indicates warming progress, turning amber when transistors warm up to increase hFE and bias point and green when the warmer is off indicating the correct bias. This ensures consistent performance in temperatures from freezing to 100°F.

Controls include TRIM for gain adjustment, FILTER for gain and bias point manipulation, and TONE for balancing attack and body. VOLUME has increased significantly for powerful sonic exploration.

The Stonk Box offers vintage fuzz charm with the consistency to keep up with contemporary guitar rigs. Its Automatic Thermal Bias Technology, versatile controls, and amplified output provide an exhilarating fuzzed-out experience. Embrace the fuzz.

  • 60s Flavored Germanium Transistor Fuzz (2N404/2N527)
  • Automatic Thermal Bias for Tonal Consistency
  • Filter for Gain and Bias Point Control
  • Increased Volume vs Original

A good update for a fifty year geologist
Format: Hardcover
I wanted an update on plate tectonics as I was a geologist for 50 years and it was a theory back when I was in school particularly on mountain building I have been impressed so far I am about half way through the book and the book does a fine job of laying a solid foundation of physics and geochemistry that are the basics for the remainder of the book

An excellent introduction to plate tectonics
Format: Kindle
My rating is 4.5 stars. I dinged the book because I wanted more about geobiological evidence for and against plate tectonics, and because it didn't mention other global tectonics, such as single-lid tectonics. Read Robert Stern's article in the May 2025 issue of the GSA bulletin.

Arrived a day early but also arrived damaged. Got this as a reference book before starting college, kinda sucks that it's already damaged.
