First edition. The first comprehensive collection of Malcolm Lowry's poetry featuring two extremely rare photographs of the author during the final period of his life.

Edited by Lowry's close friend, Earle Birney, Canadian poet and novelist, alongside Lowry's widow, Marjerie, this Pocket Poets edition unites poems previously published as well as those never seen before.

"Success is like some horrible disaster/…Fame like a drunkard consumes the house of the soul" admits Lowry in his poem, "After Publication of Under the Volcano".

Malcolm Lowry is most famous for his novel Under the Volcano, which follows the final hours of an English alcoholic living in Mexico on the Day of The Dead and tracks all that transpires in a tangential story reminiscent of Joyce's Ulysses, for whom he was eventually claimed a successor. Although a grand accomplishment for an aspiring writer in their twenties, the book would not be published for almost a decade. It was in 1939 that Lowry met his wife, Marjerie, who came to his aid and fierecly edited his work, prompting him in new creative directions to an eventual finish line that brought him wide acclaim. Their intensely tempestuous relatonship makes Marjerie's influence on this partiuclar compilation more intruging.

Published five years after Lowry's tragic death- in the preface to this moving edition, Earle Birney writes, "The world he could not live with is drowning in its own element. The self-drownded poet survives here in his".

I like using this paper and have purchased numerous times. The one I buy the paper is a little thicker and the designs print beautiful vibrant colors.

Works Very Well
Size: 120g 8.5" x 11"
I am new to sublimation printing, and purchased this based on recommendations from multiple websites. I'm so glad I did! It transfers well onto several mediums, including shirts, totes, mousepads and cups. I've never had any jams or misfeeds, and the quality of the paper is high. I'll definitely purchase again!

I Exclusively Use ONLY Hiipoo Products - Simply the BEST!
Size: 120g 8.5" x 11"
I'm just about to purchase this product for the 3rd time. I simply cannot believe how well this product works for me. In the past, I had a $2k Ricoh sublimation printer, using Sawgrass ink, and specialty sublimation paper. That expensive Ricoh printer didn't last over 2 years. I took such great care of that machine, and it was terrible. Now, I use an Epson-2800, and I ONLY USE Hiipoo ink and paper, because it is THE BEST! Hiipoo inks work excellent in Epson printers, but you must initially start with their ink, you cannot add the ink to whatever you already have in your printer. This paper is compatible with Epson printers. I will exclusively only use Hiipoo products. The quality is unmatched. The performance is superior. The value is outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend Hiipoo products. I am not a paid spokesperson, not do I receive compensation for this review. I just own a business that provides laser engraving and sublimation printed items. You cannot go wrong using this sublimation paper. Buy their inks too, the quality of the printed items are exceptional. Excellent thickness of paper. It's durable, dries quickly and the color quality is excellent! Love Hiipoo products!!!

Great paper!
Size: 120g 8.5" x 11"
I love Hiipoo sublimation paper!Colors come out crisp and clear. And so bright and beautiful! The pattern on the back is a real big plus also. This paper is great quality, not flimsy, thick enough that it's easy to use and printers don't have problems picking it up.
