1970年代のSPHINXのフクロウモチーフブローチ。木にとまったフクロウが繊細なテクスチャーで美しく表現されており、瞳にはエメラルドグリーンのストーンが輝いています。顔の部分は動くお作りで、首をかしげる姿は本物のフクロウを思わせる愛らしさ。

艶やかなイエローゴールドにグリーンが美しく映え、アニマルモチーフでありながら洗練された雰囲気も。コーディネートのチャーミングなアクセントになってくれる素敵なお品です。

1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
