New single by Venezuelan Ska Jazz Messengers band, presenting 'It's Alright' and 'Aunque Todo No Esté Bien'. 'It's Alright', original song by Curtis Mayfield & The Impressions (1963), adapted and arranged as main soundtrack on the Pixar's 'Soul' film, and now colored by Ska Jazz Messengers. On the flip side there is a SJM own composition entitled 'Aunque Todo No Esté Bien', sung in Spanish, in the same classic Jamaican original Rock Steady / Reggae style with their unique sound. With heavy Early Reggae grooves in a Lloyd Charmers mood, a little bit from Gladstone Anderson and, of course, some traditional Ska, SJM provides a rich and fresh new cover of this great tune. This single has some collaborations as on piano, bass and backing vocals by Casey Beres (californian multi-instrumentalist and songwriter), as well as Samuel Fuentes doing a beautiful job on backing vocals and, also, both tracks has been mixed by top Argentinian producer and musician Esteban Descalzo. Ska Jazz Messengers were formed 11 years ago in Caracas, Venezuela. The band features nowadays 7 musicians and is one of the bands with a wider International projection in Latin America.
