Mesquite Block M-1035 1.4" x 1.5" x 5"Mesquite Block M 1035 1. 4" x 1. 5" x 5" 0. 4 lbs. This is a pretty piece of Texas Mesquite, just the right size for a duck call or other small turning. The color is the deep reddish brown of Mesquite heartwood. The grain is mostly linear to gently curving. There are several during growth cracks present, from when the tree was stressed and cracked by wind while growing. These have spalted nicely and may need some stabilizing while turning. See photos

Great dressy sneaker to wear with business casual or jeans

I got these for my husband to wear with jeans or business casual dress pants. They look sharp and professional and dress up jeans if you're going out. He says they fit comfortably and he can walk on them all day without his feet hurting. They are beautiful genuine leather so they don't get stinky.
