Intended for the growing selective hunting audience, it is a bolt action rifle ideal for red deer hunting, wild boar hunting, roe deer hunting even in unfavorable weather conditions. Indeed, the Weathercoat treatment, applied to the butt, improves the wood's weathering resistance. Whether on a wild boar hunt or from a lookout tower, it always guarantees perfect performance thanks to its lightness and outstanding ergonomics. Like all Horizon rifles, Horizon Wood was created following the indications obtained from the Evolved Ergonom-X development platform which, thanks to the hunting habit observation of more than a thousand hunters, returns the rifle with perfect shapings and grip. Horizon Wood features Allround Interlacement checkering, typical of Franchi, on the pistol and on the front of the stock and can be held in the 5 main shooting positions, to offer unparalleled sensation.
With a pared back, innovative design, it is available in calibers .308 WIN, .30-06 SPRG and .300 WIN MAG, with streamlined conical bolt handle and Dependa Bolt three-fin fluted bolt, which ensures 60‚Äö?Ñ?? opening even with larger scopes.
Equipped with a detachable 3-round magazine in all calibers, Horizon Wood has adjustable and easily accessible Relia Trigger even when wearing gloves. Like all Horizon bolt action rifles, it is certified to guarantee 1 M.O.A. accuracy out of three shots fired and comes with a 7-year warranty, the best in its class.
