The Beau Pets Gentle Leader Black is a head collar designed to discourage your dog from pulling and to make the walking experience both positive for you and your dog.
The head collar is not a muzzle but when fitted correctly a simple walking device to stop them pulling. The Beau Pets Gentle Leader Black features two soft nylon straps with the collar section sitting high at the top of the neck, and the nose loop fits loosely and comfortably across the base of the snout with each strap having a distinctive and important part to making your dog walk without pulling. The nose straps main function is that it applies gentle pressure in the same way a dogs pack leader would grasp the snout with your dog learning in his own language that you are the leader. The collar strap at the back of your dogs neck simulates the same interaction a puppy would have with their mum when they are picked up by the back of the neck. With the gentle pressure at the back of the neck the dog pulls backwards not forwards to create perfect walking for you and your dog.
