The Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in Aged Aztec Gold reflects a harmonious fusion of vintage charm and modern refinements. This iteration celebrates the timeless appeal of the Stratocaster, reimagined with present-day enhancements that cater to the demands of today's players.

The guitar's body, crafted from 2-piece select alder, ensures a balanced resonance that has been a cornerstone of the Stratocaster sound. The design stays true to the iconic Stratocaster silhouette, a shape that has captivated players since its introduction in 1954.

The neck, a quartersawn maple piece, sports a fat 1959 “D” profile, offering substantial yet comfortable grip for a variety of playing styles. The fingerboard, a round-laminated quartersawn maple, features a compound radius of 9.5" to 12", providing optimal comfort and ease in both chordal and solo playing. The 6105 narrow tall frets enhance playability across the 25.5" scale length. Black micarta dot inlays provide a sleek and subtle contrast to the maple fingerboard.

This Postmodern Strat comes equipped with a trio of Custom Shop Hand-Wound Dual-Mag II Strat pickups. Coupled with a 5-position blade switch and a master volume with tone-saver bleed, the electronics offer a broad palette of tonal colors. The unique Neck/Bridge Pickup Blend control opens up additional sonic possibilities.

The Aged Aztec Gold finish, applied with nitrocellulose lacquer, is beautifully complemented by the Journeyman Relic treatment, depicting an instrument that has been cherished yet worn over the years.

The Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Stratocaster Journeyman Relic represents an impressive blend of the old and new, showcasing Fender's rich legacy whilst embracing the modern demands of today's players.

Good book!
Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.

Format: Paperback
Used this for a Patho class and thought it was a great resource. My group had hypertension and it was really good about giving an overview of the disease without overwhelming you with information. Some of the studies were obvious as to why the disorder occurred but in those cases it helped link body systems and show interactions.
