SAKAYA HACHIBEH JUNMAI GINJOThis is the classical and representative Junmai Ginjo sake that is released annually under Gensaka brewerys traditional brand Sakaya Hachibeh. This mellow style is gently aromatic with green grape, pear, melon and steamed rice notes with a smooth texture on drinking which broadens to a savoury dry, cleansing finish. There is a touch of pleasant bitterness on the back palate which works particularly well with rich proteins and earthy flavours.

This mellow style is gently aromatic with green grape, pear, melon and steamed rice notes with a smooth texture on drinking which broadens to a savoury dry, cleansing finish. There is a touch of pleasant bitterness on the back palate which works particularly well with rich proteins and earthy flavours. Minerality in the sake is accentuated at very cold temperatures when chilled or enjoy around 15 – 18 degrees C for a more supple, expansive drinking experience. This is a great all round sake which shows flexibility to pair well with most dishes in a meal.
