The Wide Body Rattler•XL is a wider version of the popular Rattler•C model that maintains the length of the original, while also creating a wider footprint, from face to the back edge of the putter. I have watched the trends that are happening with putters and this was a putter that was done as a handmade piece for several customers. Their feedback was enough to tell me that a CNC-based version would be a great offering.
I have started with heads milled from 1018 Cold Rolled Carbon Steel, USA 303 Stainless Steel and a single head offered in Tellurium Copper.
With the Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, the neck offerings are not very limited. A plumbers neck, Tombstone neck, full-round flow neck or short stub, if you like a center-shafted design, are all stock offerings. Custom offerings include a Hex Stainless neck, Twisted 'n' Sick from Hex or Square stock and most any other neck that comes to your mind, out of the normal run of neck ideas.
Finishes are listed on my spec sheet and if you have an idea that is not listed, please note that when you email me and I will let you know if it is possible.
The pictures are of the very first few that have been produced and I cannot say how excited I am to offer this design to the people who have supported MannKrafted for the past several years. It is a beautiful, sweet-feeling putter that is sure to fit well into your rotation or as the winning putter in your game.
I currently have just the RH version of this head available and it is a carbon steel model. Working with my contact to have additional LH pieces done within the month of August. Reach out with requests for LH and I may be able to craft this design in LH orientation, via my Bridgeport until the CNC-based headstart heads are available.
