This base layer is multi-functional too, being amazing for running, gym and other fitness activities as well as riding.

Mesh panels on key areas improve breathability, comfort and functionality while laser cut vents under the arms maximise ventilation.

V-shaped contour panelling on the front and back create a flattering feminine silhouette, and the dark chrome front quarter zip and flexible collar ensure versatility and comfort.

A tone-on-tone Maximilian logo on the sleeve completes the understated elegant look.

The Maximilian Equestrian Frame Base Layer is available in Burgundy, in sizes Extra Small (UK 4-6), Small (UK 8-10), Medium (UK 10-12) or Large (UK 12-14).

They are designed for a very close fit, so Maximilian recommend sizing up if you prefer a looser fit.

I’m a really tough pillow critic and have a hard time finding one I actually like. With that said, this pillow was better than a lot of others I’ve tried—mainly because you can remove some of the latex shavings to adjust the firmness. I ended up taking out about 20% (do it over a big trash can because the shavings can get messy!). When it arrived it was too firm for me, which is why I had to take some filling out. Even after adjusting it, it’s still not my absolute favorite pillow, but I do use it every night as a “hug” pillow and it works great for that. I think people who aren’t as picky as I am will probably really enjoy it, especially since you can customize the amount of latex to get it just right. I’d give it 3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4.
