The 1st reason is that when your anchor hangs off the bow of your boat, it can make getting onto your boat from shore a lot more difficult. Also, for those of us who tie up to shores with steep banks, having your anchor on the bow will cause problems as waves hit your boat. The boat goes up and down, and your anchor grates against the shore. Both of those situations can be very annoying.
With the Fish Fighter® Products Deck Mount Anchor Nest, you can now mount your anchor away from the front of your boat, and in a more sensible location. With our flat design, you can easily mount your FFP Anchor Nest to the side of your bow, under a seat, or below deck. No matter where you mount it, your anchor will be safe and secure. The Fish Fighter® Products Anchor Nest is designed to securely hold Fish Fighter® Columbia River Series Anchors. Rest assured that your anchor will be locked into position, and will not move or bounce once it is secured in the FFP Anchor Nest.
Another great feature is that our anchor locker is lockable -- no more fears of getting your anchor stolen. You can just install a padlock if you want, or you can just use the included locking clips. Either way, your anchor is secured. This anchor nest is designed to hold either the FFP 26LB or 32LB Columbia River Edition™ Anchors. Made from marine-grade aluminum, this locker will last for generations to come and with the laser-cut Fish Fighter® Logo it will also look good.
