Gold Plating Services’TriVal 24K Acid Gold Strike plating solution is a fully complexed 24K acid gold strike/acid (potassium auric-cyanide) electroplating formulation. We have developed this gold process to be used as a pre-treatment step that will allow the user to plate 24karat gold directly onto extremely difficult to plate alloys such as stainless steel, Invar or Kovar, (even chrome). The secret to the superiority of Gold Plating Services’ TriVal 24 K Acid Gold Strike is the 24 karat acid gold strike (potassium auric-cyanide) complex. The tightly bound complex allows this superior gold strike solution to have a pH of less than 1. This super-aggressive solution ensures concurrent activation and deposition of a thin layer of metallic gold for maximum adhesion.
Because of it's low cathode efficiency this solution is best used as a pretreatment only. The final gold deposit should be applied using a high efficiency solution such as our 24K Bright Gold Solution or 24K Pure Gold Solution.
This product is shipped in 1 liter containers ground UPS only!
Attention International Customers:
TriVal will not be shipped as a ready to use solution. Instead, you will receive TriVal Base Solution. This will require the addition of reagent grade hydrochloric acid (not included with purchase) to make a ready to use TriVal Solution. Instructions for combining the TriVal Base, along with the SDS sheets (Safety Data Sheets) will be included with your package.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Gold Plating Services’ has no control over these charges, nor can Gold Plating Services predict what they may be.
Customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Orders that do not reach the final destination and are returned to Gold Plating Services will be automatically refunded minus shipping charges and may be subject to a restock fee under the discretion of Gold Plating Services.
