"Londinum Feracissimi Angliae Regni Metropolis" - a famous bird's-eye view map of London by George Braun & Frans Hogenberg, engraved and hand-coloured, published in 1st volume of their atlas of city views "Civitates Orbis Terrarium" in Cologne and Amsterdam in 1572.

The Londinum Feracissimi Angliae Regni Metropolis map was based on so-called "Copperplate map of London", a now-lost twenty-sheet large plan of London believed to have been made between 1553 and 1559. It is the earliest true map of London (as opposed to panoramic views). Tudor London with its suburbs now extends outside the city walls. At the heart of the city is St. Paul's cathedral with its tall spire, which was lost in a fire in 1561. The gardens of the manor houses and palaces stretch out in the direction of Charing Cross, linking the city with the royal court at Westminster. Across the Thames, spanned by the magnificent London Bridge, Southwark is depicted along with the bull/bear baiting rings, very popular sports during the Elizabethan era. The river Thames is busy with ships and boats.

Georg Braun (1541 – 1622) was a topo-geographer. From 1572 to 1617 he edited the Civitates orbis terrarum, which contains 546 prospects, bird's-eye views and maps of cities from all around the world. He was the principal editor of the work. Braun was born and died in Cologne. His principal profession was as a Catholic cleric. His six-volume work was inspired by Sebastian Münster's Cosmographia. The Braun publication set new standards in cartography for over 100 years.

Frans Hogenberg (1535–1590) was a Flemish and German painter, engraver, and mapmaker. Hogenberg was born in Mechelen. In 1568 he was banned from Antwerp by the Duke of Alva and travelled to London, where he stayed a few years before emigrating to Cologne. He is known for portraits and topographical views as well as historical allegories. He created the tables for Civitates orbis terrarum volumes I through IV.

Fine Simple Product, Works as Advertised
Size: 3-Panel
Performs as advertised, a simple upright divider. I use it to mark my "office" space when working from home. Assembly was straightforward and well documented. One person can do it, but a second person can be helpful when sliding the fabric divider pieces onto their poles. Part quality is fine for the price point. The only mild annoyance is that the upright poles can start getting loose from the metal feet, and need to be retightened occasionally (Allen wrench is included, keep it handy for retightening). It's fairly lightweight and easy to reposition, but the feet are heavy enough to keep it steady once placed. All in all, a good product. I was pleased enough to buy a second one when my son wanted something to block sunlight from behind his computer desk.

Wobbly and Poor Design
Size: 1-Panel
Update: nope! Not worth the money. My cat simply brushed against the divider, and it fell, knocking breakable things over. Not safe! It serves it's purpose, but...the screws were basically glued to the packaging. It took me longer to get the screws out of the packaging than it did to put it together. The assembly was easy. I am not mechanically inclined by any means, but the instructions, despite being very hard to read (I have over 40 eyes), were pretty simple. Structurally, it is very wobbly. I think they should have designed it with a middle rod to keep it more stable. I find that the attachments to the rods are wobbly and should have been screwed rather than popped into an attachment hole without reinforcement. That would have also made the room divider more stable. I have cats, but the material is easy to clean. I took a damp cloth to it, and it came right off. As far as see-through...I think it does a great job of masking theO other side of the room.. I just wish it was a little longer and closer to the floor stand. I like that it came with extra parts. It's just a very cheaply made item, and I don't think the price for the item reflects how cheaply it is made, how wobbly and unstable it is, or the poor design.

Taking forever but worth it
Size: 1-Panel, Size: 1-Panel
Love the product. However, trying to take the screws etc out of its box, it’s almost impossible due to the adhesive inside it. I have neck and arm issues so for me it was even more difficult. Adhesive stuck to each washer and screw so I had adhesive all over my hands then I had to get it off of the items.
