O-Wash Worsted by O-Wool was developed for the environmentally minded consumer.  The wool is spun and dyed in the USA from certified organic merino wool from South America.  While this yarn is solid with slight tonal variations, please alternate skeins when knitting due to the small dye batches.

Unlike conventional superwash processes where scales are burned off of the wool fiber with acid, O-Wash uses a GOTS certified organic compound to create washability. This compound holds the wool fibers in place during washing and drying, preventing them from interlocking during agitation which is what causes shrinkage and felting.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Machine wash in cold water. Machine dry on low heat. Please pre-wash any vibrant or dark skeins containing reds or blues as bleeding may occur in colorwork.  Please note this yarn is not suitable for felting projects
