【Kenneth Jay Lane(KJL)とは】
Kennethはデザイン学校を卒業後、Hattie Carnegieの下で働き、その後Christian Diorの靴のデザイナーをしながらジュエリーデザインを始めました。1963年にNYで自身のジュエリー会社を創業すると彼のコスチュームジュエリーは人気を博し、ケネディ大統領夫人、エリザベス・テイラー、オードリー・ヘップバーンにも愛用されました。
Kennethのデザインコンセプトは「何にもとらわれず、好きなものだけを作る」。他にないオリジナリティ溢れるデザインが魅力で、現在も世界中のコレクターに愛されています。
