Set sail with the weird and wonderful world of Sailing the Seas of Cheese, the wildly inventive second album from Primus. This 2013 reissue brings the 1991 cult classic back to life, loaded with quirky grooves and genre-defying madness.
Featuring standout tracks like “Jerry Was a Race Car Driver,” “Tommy the Cat,” and “Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers,” the album blends funk, metal, and absurdist storytelling like only Primus can. Les Claypool’s virtuosic basslines and eccentric vocals are front and center, turning every track into an offbeat adventure.
This reissue keeps the original’s freaky charm intact while offering improved sound quality for vinyl purists. If you like your rock with a side of strange, Sailing the Seas of Cheese is your ticket to bizarre bliss.
