Our Wheel Throwing Level 1 Weekend with Simon offers 15 hours of hands-on teaching over two full days, running 10:00–16:00 on Saturday and Sunday, with a 2.5-hour evening glazing session scheduled a few weeks later (date provided in the course schedule).
Designed for beginners or those with minimal clay experience, this course focuses entirely on wheel throwing, guiding you through the fundamentals of wedging, centering, opening, and pulling up walls to create simple functional forms. By the end of the weekend, you’ll have five pieces ready to glaze in the follow-up session, with step-by-step guidance from Simon.
