Continuing one of Gretsch's most celebrated collections, the Electromatic Premier Jet is a reliable, versatile electric guitar that delivers clean and pristine tones while offering the option for aggressive bite, making for a well-rounded instrument to suit the needs of any and all players.
Sculpted from a solid chambered mahogany, featuring a bound carved maple top, this single cutaway body, gloss finished in a clean Vintage White, is stylish and practical, with forearm and body contours to ensure the guitar sits where it's meant to be. The mahogany neck, found in the Performance "C" profile, is topped with a bound ebony fingerboard, adding clarity and brightness to the well-rounded tone. Guiding the player's path are Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays stretched over 22 Medium Jumbo frets, with Luminlay side dots for dark settings when precision can't be sacrificed.
Electromatic's are an every-person's guitar, satisfying all sounds and signatures, and the Sphere Twin Six humbuckers, found in both the neck and bridge positions, are the perfect tool for controlling the balance between glistening cleans and dirty drives. With a tone knob to control each pickup, and a 3-way pickup selector to switch the desired positions, the Electromatic solidifies that complexity isn't necessary to achieve powerful sounds. The treble bleed circuited master volume is the heart of the electronics, with a push-pull mechanism to engage a Lumen filter, widening the tonal possibilities achievable with this instrument.
To keep all intonation and stability in check, Gretsch has utilized a LockDown wraparound locking bridge to ease the worries of even the toughest shredders, a system that is as comfortable as it is reliable. Found at the headstock are die-cast sealed locking tuners, another needed measure to ensure your tunings are sound—all of your bends resolving where they started.
