This altar plate has been carefully sanded down, wood burned with magical intention, stained and finished by my hand.
Description & dimensions-
This rectangular shaped altar plate is pine wood and is 9 inches high & 7.5 inches wide. Using pyrography, the symbolism on this plate is of the two wolves, one next to a Nordic symbol of the moon and the other a Nordic symbol of the sun. In the middle is the Rune Sowilo, which represents the celestial energies of both the sun and moon, as well as power.
It’s not an illusion! The staining technique of this piece is unique to others I’ve made before, I purposefully made half of this piece to have a lighter stain and the other half a darker stain to represent the idea of day and night in this piece.
