 Worsted Weight

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Cascade Yarns 220 Heathers (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 100g/220 yds): 3 (3, 4, 4, 5) Skeins.

ALTERNATE YARN: NatureSpun Worsted by Brown Sheep Co. (100% USA Wool; 100g/245 yds): 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) Skeins.  Durable, strong, staple yarn made 100% in the USA!  Solids & heathers only.  

ALTERNATE YARN: Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibers (100% Peruvian Fine Highland Wool; 50g/123 yds): 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 8) Skeins. Please use color Grey Harbor to closely match the hat in the images.  This heathered and soft wool comes from Peru and is wonderfully soft, but not as soft as merino wool.  Very durable and can be knit several times without any fraying, just like NatureSpun.  Heathering adds extra depth and different colored "hairs" in the finished hat.  PRE-ORDER now available in any color.  Please allow an extra 7 business days for your PRE-ORDER to arrive at your location.

ALTERNATE YARN: Balance by  O-Wool (50% organic merino / 50% certifiedl organic Texas cotton; 50g/130 yds): 4 (5, 5, 6, 7, 8) Skeins.  A perfect yarn for warmer climates.  Milled & dyed in Northwestern United States. This yarn has been discontinued and will not be available much longer.

GAUGE: 20sts x 40 rows rows = 4" in garter stitch

A Special Note: We recommend making 1 size larger than your child's current size so that the blazer will fit for an entire season.  Simply roll the cuffs up while he or she growns into the jacket.
