The color is a pinkish brown with lighter colored mottling and some light spalting. This block has subtle, attractive grain patterns, which includes darker streaks and knots. It is lightly spalted with "white rot" style spalting. Most of these pieces also have a bit of black line spalting. This wood has been carefully air dried to 10 12% moisture

Most of these pieces also have a bit of black-line spalting. This wood has been carefully air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. There are some drying cracks present that we recommend you fill with CA glue prior to or during turning. See photos for close-ups on the cracks in this block. There is a knot at mid-block on the annotated face. It will need extra attention with CA glue during turning. We recommend this piece for an experienced turner. Pear wood typically has a fine and even grain pattern, which can result in a smooth and attractive surface when turned. This fine grain allows for intricate details and clean cuts. It is delightful to turn! |

Just the patch, nothing else

Tried this with cement glue for PVC piping. Not sure if they are a different type of glue. The patch didn't stick at all. The instruction says to use lighter fluid, which I didn't have. Very inconvenient to need all sort of stuff to just patch a few dollar tube. I was hoping a simple process of removing the cover and sticking it on the tube. Several hours of waisted time.

Amazing kit, it has everything you need!

Great Kit for ATV's
Great so far, bought to keep in our Four Wheeler in case of flat on the trail.
Pump is great for ATV Purposes not sure about cars and trucks etc.
Ran all 4 tires up to 8 psi from 6 psi in just a few minutes,so it does work great for lower psi use.
Tools are built well and plenty of plugs and other items are provided.
All fits well in supplied case in the back storage of my 2025 Cforce 600 Touring just for reference.
Overall great value for what is included for that time when you need it.
Must have for ATV's!
