AWE Performance Exhaust and High-Flow Cat Sections for Porsche 991.2 Turbo - Stock Tips

Producing an exhaust system that is both aggressive at full throttle yet civil enough for Bluetooth calls is no small endeavor. Using the AWE 200 Cell HJS HD high-flow catalysts, AWE sound engineers carefully studied the tones of the multiple prototype 991 TT systems at various RPMs, and meticulously engineered a bespoke 991 TT solution (as opposed to a repurposed 997.2TT system) to combat frequencies that are not appropriate for a supercar of this caliber – retaining and building upon only the perfect notes. All while producing an impressive 29+ horsepower at the crank along with the AWE No CEL Guarantee.Using 3.0" diameter T304 stainless steel tubing and an H-pipe design, the AWE muffler section routes exhaust gases through two proprietary and handcrafted mufflers to create the AWE signature sound. The exhaust is available with AWE Diamond Black tips, Chrome Silver tips, or OE tips to retain the factory look. This version reuses the OE tips, for that "sleeper" look, if that's possible with your 991.2. This is the only 991.2 Turbo and Turbo S exhaust that’s fit for the AWE badge.Important note: Please note that due to the use of high flow catalytic converters this exhaust is legal for racing use only.

2nd time purchasing this item. The 1st one lasted 2 years, but my boat hasn't been used a lot either. The marine mechanic who replaced it for me said it was definitely time to replace it. He said it fits and works just fine. Has good water flow. As for quality and value, I'd say decent. The price is better than an OMC OEM pump. I plan on using my boat more this year, so we'll see how it holds up. I'll get it replaced at the end of the year. Ease of installation, NOT EASY. The lower unit has to be completely removed from the outboard. Some outboard are easier than others and as old as this one is, it's probably easier than some of the newer ones. I've watched a couple of videos on YouTube on how to do it and I might try to do it myself next time. It cost $360 to have it done and that's with me supplying the pump. He said it took him about 1½hours to do the job, but I was charged for 3 hours labor. Probably what the book shows. I'd buy it again and I'll try to do the job myself.
