This Fender Custom Shop '69 Stratocaster features an alder body matched with a 5/4 quartersawn maple neck in a 1969 "U" profile. The twenty-one frets align with 6105 fret wire. A noteworthy headstock shape with a 60 head scoop tops off this Stratocaster's neck. This Custom Shop Strat is designed with a Fender Custom Shop Relic finish treatment which is displayed across the body, neck, and fingerboard. This careful finish design replicates the aesthetic and feel of a guitar well loved and well worn. Three hand-wound '69 Strat pickups produce the chime and bell-like tonality that made 1960s Stratocasters so iconic. A reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup is incorporated into the trio for additional versatility. This Custom Shop Stratocaster is anchored with an American Vintage Strat relic bridge and Schaller F Key relic tuners.
