Rio's fully stainless-steel lid is held securely by a food-safe silicone band, which is included in both orange and red. The most exciting feature is the innovative sealing system integrated into the spout: a thin stainless-steel plate keeps anything from entering the pitcher when at rest, but conveniently moves out of the way when you tilt the body to pour.

Look nice.
These were really nice for canned oysters, way better than what we can get in the stores in our area. Perfect for milk based oyster soup! the ratio is one can of cream of mushroom, one can full of milk, one can of oysters. Add butter, salt, pepper, and bring to a boil.

Tastes like boiled oysters, so it has that nailed down.
I use it in my shrimp ramen noodles sometimes, sometimes I use it to flavor garnish dishes.
