The OMRON M500 Intelli IT is a clinically validated digital upper arm blood pressure monitor with arrhythmia detection and indication. Since atrial fibrillation increases the risk of embolism and stroke, the Omron blood pressure monitor's alert function can detect potential atrial fibrillation (AFiB) and treat or prevent it in time.
The blood pressure monitor has an internal memory where up to 100 readings can be stored by two users. The device's dual display makes it easy to compare the latest results with other daily readings. The high accuracy of the readings is ensured by averaging three consecutive measurements.
The values can be transmitted wirelessly from the device via Bluetooth and the OMRON connect app. In addition to clinical validation, the OMRON M500 is also validated for pregnant women and diabetics and is therefore particularly recommended for this patient group.
The blood pressure monitor is supplied with an Intelli Wrap cuff. This is equipped with an integrated motion sensor that detects movements and thus reduces the susceptibility to errors in the measurement. In addition, the arm cuff displays if it fits correctly on the upper arm.
