Description:
What does it mean for the people to actually rule? Formal democracy is an empty and cynical shell, while the nationalist Right claims to advance its anti-democratic project in the name of Âthe People™. How can the Left respond in a way that is true to both its radical egalitarianism and its desire to transform the real world? In this book, Gianpaolo Baiocchi argues that the only answer is a radical utopia of popular self-rule. This means that the Âpeople™ who rule must be understood as a demos that is totally open, inclusive and egalitarian, constantly expanding its boundaries. But it also means that sovereignty must be absolute, possessing total power over all relevant decisions that impact the conditions of life. Only, he argues, by a process of explosive and creative tension between this radical view of the Âwe™ and an absolute idea of the Âsovereign™ can we transform our approach to political parties and state institutions and make them instruments of total emancipation. Illustrated by the real-life experiences of movements throughout the world, from Latin America to Southern Europe, Baiocchi™s provocative vision will be essential reading for all activists who want to understand the true meaning of radical democracy in the 21st century.

PURPLE SAUCONY's BOYS KID SIZE 6
Size: 6 Big Kid, Color: Plum/White, Size: 6 Big Kid, Color: Plum/White
Nice, light and comfy though a bit hard no cushion but good if your kid runs through sneakers roughly....I hope! good that I had a discount applied otherwise these would go back due to if it would survive everyday wear and tear. Color is true to compare and size is true Boys kids 6. Consider how your child or grandchild will wear them!
Update: sneaker is not water proof. Seems like a knock off because the bottom color of the souls are off and the two colors are off and distorted but as for comfort ok and it's not cushioned so be aware especially if your child needs support and comfort and dry feet!

Sleek and comfy!
Size: 4 Big Kid, Color: Black
My daughter is hard on shoes and doesn't like to clean them. These paired well with her school uniform and are very durable and easy to clean and comfortable! Proud I purchased them. I was skeptical about the look at 1st,but they ended up being pretty sleek, simple, and classy for a kid! Not to blah and not too flashy. And if you know what you know about the Saucony, this was a popular throwback that still serves today! Glad they are still in business! These kids don't know what they got with these!
