Not every guitar brand can name an instrument model after Music City USA and have it live up to the name....BUT the Maton Guitars EBG808 Nashville exceptionally rises up to the professionalism that comes with the designation, and defeats any other model that bears the label "Nashville".
Built with the songwriter/performer in mind, the Maton Guitars EBG808 Nashville is constructed with their 808 body size and has a tonewood combination of Sitka Spruce and Victorian Blackwood. The Sitka Spruce top provides articulate note definition with powerful velocity control, while the Blackwood back and sides gives off a sweet high end that is wrapped with overtones. Blackwood is in the same family as Koa and sonically gives plenty of high end without sounding sharp or thin. The sunburst finish is a unique Amber Burst that is ready to see the inside of many bars!
A Maton is not complete without their AP5 Pro Pickup System. The AP5 Pro is the best acoustic pickup system in the world and features a cardioid microphone (on an adjustable arm) combined with an undersaddle piezo that blend together to create an authentic (yet very customizable) acoustic guitar sound!
