VOX's Giulietta VGA-3PS archtop acoustic/electric guitar is truly an instrument all its own. A combination of vintage and modern design points, modeling, and styling all come together for a groundbreaking guitar. With its unique looks and electronics, the Giulietta VGA-3PS demands attention hanging on a wall and played on a stage.
The Giulietta starts out with a classic archtop body constructed from a laminated spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides. This tonewood combination makes the Giulietta both sonically resonant and easy to sling over your shoulder. Its compact body design ensures an easy fit in any player's arms while a mahogany neck and jatoba fingerboard allow for smooth trips from higher to lower registers. The electronics system of this acoustic/electric hybrid is where the magic comes alive. A new VOX Super Capacitor Preamp System introduces a new way to translate acoustic tones to the stage. Based around a high-quality piezo pickup, the Giulietta's archtop tone blooms in ways not commonly heard from other acoustic/electric archtops. Another innovative addition, the VOX Hybrid Bridge System uses the piezo pickup system in combination with a wooden base to bring the absolute best out of the natural tones produced by the Giulietta. These innovative features make sure that every player gets the full tonal spectrum of the Giulietta for a new playing experience. An Active/Passive switch is also incorporated in the Giulietta's design to turn the Super Capacitor Preamp on and off.
The acoustic/electric experience the Giulietta VGA-3PS is a trip that has been critically thought out to maximize on every musical possibility. VOX's experience with decades of fine amplification shines through with the Giulietta for a new kind of acoustic/electric sound. Innovating on nearly every level, the VOX Giulietta puts a new spin on not only acoustic guitars, but archtops and piezo pickups altogether. This kind of instrument does not come along often and to see it in action is a real treat, so don't miss your chance to see decades of amplification mastery come alive in an exciting new guitar.
