Tasting Notes

Appearance

Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin presents a clean, crystal clear appearance with excellent clarity — the hallmark of a contemporary Australian gin distilled in the Yarra Valley from a carefully considered botanical selection that captures the essence of Australia’s heritage in Europe and Asia. Bright, fresh and immediately inviting in the glass.

Aroma

Spicy and citrus-forward on the nose — whole Australian oranges lead with a highly aromatic, vibrant citrus character, supported by cardamom, cinnamon and star anise adding rich fruitcake warmth and complexity. Tasmanian pepperberry leaf provides gentle warmth rather than heat, and lemon myrtle offers a beautiful native alternative to lemon peel. A gin that captures contemporary Australia in every breath.

Palate

A perfect balance of spice and citrus — whole orange and cardamom lead with freshness and depth, with cinnamon and star anise delivering rich fruitcake tones that add genuine complexity. The Tasmanian pepperberry leaf provides warmth without heat, and the lemon myrtle carries a clean, native citrus character through to a long, satisfying finish. Classic gin structure with a distinctly modern Australian soul.

Pairs With

Outstanding in a classic gin and tonic with a slice of orange — equally exceptional in a Negroni, a gin martini or a citrus gin spritz. The spice, whole orange and native botanicals make this a versatile and rewarding gin for any occasion, and the ideal base for cocktails of all persuasions.

Excellent Quality
Size: 11"x17", Size: 11"x17"
This paper is the only paper I have ever tried with my sublimation printer. I get the most vibrant colors with every transfer. I have not experienced any fading even after washing multiple times. I have purchased this paper in letter size, 11x17, as well as 13x19 for use on welcome doormats. I have not been disappointed with any. The paper feeds through my printer without issue whether I load a single sheet, or multiples. So far, I've used it to sublimate on dishtowels, garden flags, welcome mats, t shirts, sweatshirts, and mugs. I am always happy with the finished product. I highly recommend this sublimation paper, and it can usually be found at a great price. I advise you to stock up when you see a sale

Best sub paper!
Size: 8.5"x11"
This is actually my second box of this paper I purchased. I use it that much! I like it that much! It works easily through my Epson 2850. The sub ink transfers to this paper with vibrant colors before pressing. I like the ASub print on the back to help me load the paper correctly in my printer. The ink does not bleed through the paper. I like that this paper comes in a plastic bag and in a box. This is helpful to keep the moisture out of the paper. The paper is durable as I try to manipulate on my substrate.
