Our BMW performance pipe replaces the factory exhaust catalyst, and bolts up to your existing manifold, factory rear muffler, or Active Autowerke BMW Signature Exhaust. All hanger placements precisely follow factory mounting points, and gasket rings to rear muffler are included with purchase.

Sound and Performance

The exhaust tone produced by our E36 OBD-I Track Pipe is a sporty mellow tone at low RPMs, giving way to a distinct racy growl at wide open throttle – resulting in a much more assertive, yet refined, sound from the E36. Weighing in at just 28 lbs, this performance-enhancer, which has been dyno-tested, also shaves some 30% off the stock catalyst it replaces.
