With its acoustic design, the TAS1E follows in the lead of generations of marvelous Yamaha acoustics. This TransAcoustic model takes a step forward for Yamaha and their electronic-equipped acoustic guitars. Kicking everything off, this TransAcoustic features a concert-sized, non-cutaway body made of solid spruce and mahogany, this Yamaha TAS1E starts with a solid acoustic tone to get the show on the road. Its comfortable, smaller-sized concert shape then introduces a matte-finished mahogany neck for a smooth feel in the palm. A walnut fingerboard joins in at this point for a seamless feel on the fingertips.

Probably the biggest showstopper of this Yamaha, this TAS1E features a set of TransAcoustic electronics. Onboard, this guitar features lush reverb and chorus effects to bridge excellent tonality to amplified performance. Responsive dial controls mix in great tones with two AA batteries. This playing and performance experience is backed by Yamaha's die-cast chrome tuning machines, urea nut, and walnut bridge for a solid and reliable hardware setup.
