The ThermaFusion Cedar Log 5-Foot Loveseat combines a solid Northern White Cedar log frame with thermally modified Red Oak slats — wide enough to stretch out, built to stay outside permanently. At five feet, it comfortably seats two with room to spare. The contoured slats support seat and back for ergonomic comfort during long evenings outside.

Pairs naturally with the optional Tete-A-Tete center table that folds flat and stores underneath the seat when not in use (available separately as TC5020). The cedar log frame is mortise and tenon construction, handcrafted in Edmore, Michigan. No finish or maintenance required on either material.

Care & Finishing

The thermally modified slats require no finish at all. The cedar log frame can be left untreated to weather to a silver-grey, or given a penetrating oil every few years to maintain its original warm tone. No annual maintenance on either material.

About Log Checking

The cedar log frame may develop small surface cracks (checks) as the wood acclimates. This is normal for solid cedar and does not affect structural integrity — it's a natural characteristic of the wood, not a defect. The thermally modified slats will not develop this type of checking.
