A carefully crafted alder plywood cabinet houses a 12-inch Celestion G12M Greenback, selected for its warm breakup and articulate top end. At just 10 watts, the AC10HWR1 thrives in small stages and studio settings, delivering harmonically rich tones and natural compression reminiscent of golden-era British tube amps.
Internally, a newly developed power supply circuit recreates the dynamic response of original 1960s AC models, with intentional voltage fluctuation that contributes to the amp’s signature sag and touch sensitivity. The custom output transformer enhances saturation in just the right way, while modern enhancements like a high-quality spring reverb and FX loop ensure seamless integration with external gear.
