To many a cult classic, the Bass VI has had a lasting popularity through the decades in various styles of music - popular and experimental! In the '60s, the Fender Bass VI was heard throughout recordings of classic outlaw country artists, and was also popularly used in the studio for overdubbing other bass guitars.
This, the Vintera II Bass VI, offers a standard production run of a classic vintage Fender instrument. It is based around classic vintage Fender-style spec with key features including an Alder body, Maple neck with Gloss Urethane finish, Slab rosewood fingerboard with 7.25" radius and 21 Vintage Tall frets, and 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Adjustable with “Floating” Tremolo Tailpiece.
The Vintera II '60s Bass VI follows traditional electronics specs of a Bass VI, with a trio of Vintage-Style Bass VI Single-Coil pickups. Pickups are individually selectable via accordion style switches on the lower bout, with the fourth switch being a Low Cut control.
By the request of many, the Bass VI is now a part of standard production in the Vintera II series. Coupling vintage Fender style with modern production build quality and attention to detail, the Vintera II Bass VI is ready for you.
