Manufacturer Description

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 3.0 complete suspension system for the 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra builds upon the Stage 4 3.0 suspension system with the upgrade to 3.0 Series rear remote reservoir shocks with CDEV. To compliment the 3.0 Series rear remote reservoir shocks, 3.0 Series CDEV front coilovers are included along with billet front upper control arms, a billet rear upper/lower link combo, and a front sway bar drop kit. This system offers improved on- and off-road performance with adjustable compression damping, as well as improved alignment specs and increased front-end lift height range for a proper stance and fitment of up to 35" tires. This Stage 5 system features the 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra VS 3.0 Series remote reservoir front coilovers equipped with CDE Valves. These adjustable coilovers allow up to 1.25-3.25" of lift height adjustability over stock when using the ICON billet front upper control arms, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The larger 3.0 Series shocks offer 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone of the shock's travel, and 100% in the “Bump Zone", compared to 2.5 Series shocks. The multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance as the shock travels through the last 40% of travel, keeping vehicle dynamics in check during those hard hits or unexpected obstacles. Focus on driving and let ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) read the terrain and make near-instant adjustments via the Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) at each individual shock. Control the system wirelessly through the IIC app on your phone and once configured the system functions without driver input. Additionally, ICON’s Vehicle-specific shock length yields the maximum travel possible (up to 40% increase over stock), all translating into increased stability and vehicle control at the extremes of off-road use, with benefits also making themselves apparent in on-road driving conditions. The included ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall performance of the new 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance. Additionally, replacing the OE ball joint with the all-new, serviceable, and rebuildable ICON Delta Joint PRO allows for full bump and droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind. The included sway bar drop brackets help minimize sway bar link bind through the suspension travel range. This helps the suspension move more freely and allows for the full range of wheel travel without overstressing any OE components. ICON billet aluminum adjustable rear upper and lower links are made from CNC machined 6061 aluminum and anodized for corrosion resistance. These link arm kits feature PTFE-lined FK rod ends for increased suspension articulation, reduced deflection, and on-vehicle link arm length adjustability using ICON’s double adjuster system. Additionally, multi durometer bushings are installed that allow for noise free operation and maximum angularity without the need for periodic greasing and/or other maintenance. Rounding out the Stage 5 suspension system are 3.0 Series rear remote reservoir shocks specially tailored for the 2022-2025 Tundra. 3.0 Series shocks boast 50% more piston surface area compared to 2.5 Series shocks, offering outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. Increased internal oil volume and more external surface area compared to 2.5 Series Shocks, plus their remote reservoirs, offer even greater heat dissipation and resistance to shock fade under hard use. Also equipped with CDE Valves, these offer active, on the fly compression damping adjustment from soft to hard. Their pairing with the ICON V.S. 3.0 Series CDEV front coilovers results in balanced vehicle control from front to rear and an excellent overall driving experience for your Tundra.

A True Mystery Story
Silent Spring is as relevant today as it was 50 years ago. Our ground, our air, our food and we are bombarded with chemicals, carcinogens, products of all sorts to kill weeds and bugs and are capable of killing us. Rachel Carson, a biologist and talented writer, walks us through a litany of misuse and overuse of chemicals that have never been tested for safety to humans. Laws are on the books requiring this testing to be done, but it is disregarded because they make our grass greener, our bugs keel over dead and a lot of people rich. Carson is known best for revealing the reason that Bald Eagle eggs had such thin shells that they broke well before the required incubation before hatching. The drastic reduction is successful Eagle births was DDT. Because this is our national bird and is supported by activists in and out of government, DDT was banned and the eagles began producing young again. We have not been so lucky. This book is factual in a clear and understandable way, and it informs us of the human actions and choices that put us all at risk. No alarmist language is employed, but facts lead us to conclusions that are concerning. The stunning fact to me is that the book was written fifty years ago, and the same risks to humanity and our future are being taken today when we could find better ways of solving problems, more cautious ways of using chemicals and restricting their use in sensible ways. As I talk to people about the issues raised in this book, they have not heard of Rachel Carson and have heard nothing of the assured negative effects on our own health from the chemicals we expose ourselves to daily. We knew so much back then when Carson wrote this book. Why hasn't more been researched and shared with us, so we can have current knowledge of the facts and risks. It is important that Carson's writing not be buried on a dusty shelf. It is a real mystery story and we are the cast.

This should’ve been required reading since the ‘70’s.
Format: Hardcover
It takes a strong writer with a very clear view ( back in the early 60’s) to make a very sciency topic into a gripping read. Ms. Carson broke down a complex scientific relationship between chemicals and the welfare of the planet and those of us who live here.. All of us, down to the microbes. This is a very logical explanation of how all living things are dependent on a clean environment, and how profiteering companies have compromised the health of all life on earth in the name of fewer weeds, attractive produce at the market, and ignoring the failures of the chemical approach that disregards integrated pest management. I promise you that it’s not a boring textbook study. I was a pest control advisor for many years, and had I known then what I know now I’d have trusted less in what I was trained, looking harder into the collateral damage that was created, and pushed harder, sooner, to stop the use of carbamate, organophosphates, and other “harmless” pesticides and carriers that have destroyed a multitude of environmentally sensitive and important components of a healthy ecosystem that we may not recover from in the name of profit. Other than that, it’s light reading!

Poor formatting on kindle version
Format: Kindle
Five stars for the book, 0 stars for the formatting of this kindle version. Every word that contains a double "l", such as "all", "Stillness", "hill", etc. omits the second "l" in the word. Universal y. Kil. Al. Germ cels. It is extremely annoying, and one or more on nearly every page. Is it possible to swap this one for a kindle version with better formatting?

Intense and Informative
Format: Paperback
This is some intense and easily consumed deep reading material, compelling us to gaze uncomfortably at and into the unflattering challenges which continue to face the African-American collective "Community," and delves head-on into examining & explaining how the "HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE" of Black People in the United States, those who were the unfortunate descendants of the Trans-Atlantic African Slave Trade, has both simultaneously "Strengthened" and "Hindered" hindered life for this segment of the North American population across the Generations, to where many of its effects are still being felt even to this very Day. This is a powerful companion to Dr. Carol Anderson's excellent book on on the Societal struggles of Blacks in America - "WHITE RAGE: The Unspoken Truth Of Our Racial Divide"
