Historical background:

[McLaren MP4/4]
- In 1987, the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) revised regulations in order to stop the overheating F1 machine development race.
- In 1989, it announced that it would ban the use of turbo engines, placing strict restrictions on the previously mainstream turbo engines.
-For this reason, while many teams adopted naturally aspirated engines in the 1988 F1 World Championship, McLaren Honda introduced MP4/4 equipped with a turbo engine [RA168E] that does not conflict with the restrictions.
- With Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost as drivers, Ayrton Senna won his first driver's title after winning 15 out of 16 races.

Thorough history
Format: Hardcover
Levy provides a masterful history of American capitalism. His work is detailed and brilliantly written. You should buy this book for its last section: the age of chaos. Here Levy details the US economy since Reagan and identifies critical trends and questions we all need to address. This is not a book for a casual reader, each chapter is hard work. However, the rewards more than outweigh the effort.
