DermLite Carbon Dermatoscope
The DermLite Carbon is a handy dermatoscope for the examination of pigmented skin changes. The high-quality dermatoscope is equipped with 16 white LEDs, consisting of 2 LED sets of 8 LEDs each. The LED sets can be activated independently of each other at the touch of a button. The first group of 8 light elements produces cross-polarised light for visualising deep structures. The second group of LEDs provides linearly polarised light for clear examination of the skin surface. The triple lens with 10x magnification and the polarised light allow pathological changes of the skin as well as the structure of nevi to be effectively assessed. The one-handed operation enables convenient switching on and off at the touch of a button, and switching between polarised and non-polarised light is easy.
